Lourdes Hospital, part of Ascension, has provided compassionate care to those in need since 1925. In Binghamton, N.Y., the main hospital campus includes a Hospice Program, an Ambulatory Surgery Center, and a Regional Cancer Center. Reaching beyond these boundaries, Lourdes has established a network of primary care physicians at convenient sites throughout the region. The Mission In Motion program, which provides primary care and cancer screening services through two mobile medical vans, makes healthcare accessible to rural populations.
The Administrator-Contract facilitates and directs the legal review, negotiation and resolution of the organization's contracts.
Reviews and evaluates proposed contracts for necessary/acceptable contract terms and conditions.
Serves as primary liaison with contracting principals, internal departments and external parties to ensure compliance with contract specifications and resolution of issues.
Identifies and negotiates revisions as necessary.
Develops contracts using approved model templates and develops new contract model templates for approval.
Maintains contract management system and contract data. Responsible for contract management system training
Manages contract system for physician contracts including preparing physician contracts and Letter of Intent (LOI). Works with legal/risk for physician contract templates
Track physician LOI and contract process for signatures and make necessary revisions to ensure proper flow of physician hiring process. Will be responsible for physician manual hire process in associate system.
Provides administrative support as needed to members of executive leadership.
Education & Work Experience:
Bachelor Degree preferred and Three years of legal, contract, or administrative to executive leadership experience required.
