Job Description

Job Summary:

The Inventory Control Clerk monitors, orders, stocks, and transports supplies and/or equipment for the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitors, orders, stocks, and transports supplies and/or equipment.

  • Ensures timely delivery of stock/inventory as needed.

  • Investigates and troubleshoots inventory issues/problems.

  • Maintains accurate tracking records for inventory.

  • Engages customers on a regular basis to ensure good service. This requires the necessary professional presence to effectively interact with clinicians, administrators, colleagues, and vendors.

  • Ensures stock expiration is minimized with adherence to stock rotation guidelines and best practice.

  • Work with appropriate parties to ensure optimum inventory levels, consistent with department financial goals, to minimize manual requisition entry.

  • Independently counts assigned inventory locations, picks ordered items from Store Room if necessary, and delivers to final inventory storage areas timely and accurately.

Qualifications

Education & Work Experience:

  • HS or Equivalent

  • Six (6) months related experience required.
