Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

40% Schedules and monitors daily activities of tellers; hires, trains, directs, and evaluates employee performance within the department; recommends promotions, transfers and salary adjustments; identifies performance problems and takes action to correct, including termination; acts as back-up to Branch Manager during absences.
30% Welcomes members and provides routine information concerning services and directs members to appropriate department for specific information and service; opens and processes new accounts, including savings accounts, business accounts, trust accounts, certificates, IRAs and checking accounts; handles requests in a professional, prompt and efficient manner; cross-sells credit union services.
10% Keeps informed of the latest changes in credit union policies and procedures relating to security, compliance, rates, and consumer protection laws.
10% Orders vault cash, fills and balances Cash Dispensing Machines (CDMs) and Teller Cash Recyclers (TCRs), handles and disburses cash to other MSRs, handles and disburses miscellaneous item sales to MSRs; assures that adequate supply of these items are kept (not excessive) to meet member needs (or demands), and prepares related reports as needed
5% Meets balancing requirements as outlined in the MSR Standards of Performance, and performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks including typing, filing, computer input, scanning and answering the telephone.
5% Performs other related duties as assigned; must be able to work flexible hours, including Saturdays, at any/all branch locations.
