This Enterprise Business Service Integration/Test (I/T) Engineer will support internal customers by automating test cases. The Enterprise Testing Solutions (ETS) Integration and Test (I&T) Engineering Center of Excellence (CoE) is an enterprise leader in developing and promoting test automation practices. The engineer will provide I&T engineering expertise to customers in support of test activities with a focus on automating test cases. This engineer will be accountable for understanding our I&T Test Automation Guide; following it; contributing to the guide’s further development/refinement, and performing as a practitioner in support of our customers test automation needs. This position will plan development activities, calculate return on investment (ROI), present these to the customer, automate test cases, and provide status. Ensuring that a customer can run the automated test cases and implementing actual ROI tracking is also included.
This role includes accountability to plan, schedule, and execute test activities. This role will also participate in the execution of testing and troubleshooting and diagnosing problems with tests. This person will need to be able to define/review requirements, develop test cases, provide metrics, and report status. This includes following I&T CoE best practices and delivering appropriate I&T engineering artifacts in support of customer projects.
As an integration point across the solution team from a test perspective, this position will be responsible to understand dependencies and assisting to detect and resolve problems where one area affects another.
This position can be performed at any Lockheed Martin US based facility.
