Test activities will include the following: Performing Initial Check-out, Factory and Customer Acceptance Tests. Environmental Stress Screening - Random Vibration and Factory Burn-In. Troubleshooting test failures to the component., Test Shop Replaceable Assembly's (SRA's) on Production, Spare, and Field Return hardware. Filling out and completing test data sheets, compiling as built lists, generating Quality Notifications for defective non-confirming hardware, and documenting test equipment issues. Knowledge of the following types of test equipment is required: Oscilloscopes and Digital multi-meters. Candidate must be willing to work flexible overtime schedules to support deliveries. This includes off-shift and weekend overtime as required.
Basic Qualifications Candidate must be proficient in the use of various types of computers and software programs. Must be able to read and understand drawings, schematics, blueprints, and technical publications. Must have the ability to write test reports in detail. Must be familiar with basic troubleshooting techniques. The preferred candidate must work under general supervision, have the ability to multi-task and adapt to change, and possess strong organizational and communication skills. The candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to take ownership of assigned tasks. The individual must be able to work with a diverse team of highly skilled engineers, technicians, and subcontractors. The individual must have good oral and written communication skills and work well in a team environment. Adherence to Quality Procedures within the Product Test Organization is a must.
Desired skills Desired skills include the ability to troubleshoot circuit card assemblies down to the component level using special test equipment, digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and other evaluation tools. Knowledge of and the ability to implement 6S and flow principles. Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office Products.
