NBT Bank Retail Market Manager I in Vestal, New York

Retail Market Manager I - Has primary responsibility for a branch and/or a group of branches. Is a role model in providing exceptional customer service while promoting and offering bank products and services, as they coincide with customer need. Responsible for the profitability, growth and successful operation of these branch offices. Leads, manages and coaches branch teams to achieve sales objectives and to deliver superior customer service. Makes outside business calls individually and with branch managers and other business partners to cultivate and develop new business. Represents the organization in a leadership role in civic and community functions to further enhance the bank's image. Supports initiatives of other bank business partners. Provides superior quality customer service and a positive banking experience for customers. Reports to Retail Sales & Administration.

Education -
4 year college degree or equivalent retail banking or financial services experience.
Prior sales management experience required with increased levels of responsibility.
Prior lending experience preferred.
Prior experience in leading projects to a successful completion.
Business development & outside business sales experience required.

Requirements -
